Samsung has applied for three European trademarks, all of which are related to block chain technology. This news is interpreted as the company plans to build a block-based smartphone.
Samsung, a South Korean-based technology giant, has applied for three European trademarks for features related to BlockChain to be included in smartphones. These trademarks BuBlockchain Core”,”Blockchain KeyStore”And”Blockchain key box”Named. There is little information about the nature of use and the nature of the three potential features. However, some features indicate that trademarks refer to common key storage functions. In the future, it can be integrated in digital wallet hardware on mobile devices.
These three trademarks, especially Samsung Block for Smartphones clearly implies its intention to create chain features. The applications say that functions can be used in the following goods and services: Smartphones, software applications for use with mobile devices, computer software platforms and application software. The trademark's descriptions are incomplete. However, active internet users are dreaming of the next Block-chain-based smartphone to be made by Samsung.
Earlier this year, Samsung had shared its view on the safe storage of private keys. The electronic giant said its smartphones can provide the best security thanks to the existing Reliable Execution Environment (TEE) feature that is separate from Android. Samsung Knox, provides greater protection to TEE, allowing users to store their crypto money in safe conditions. However, many experts were not impressed by Samsung's claims about the accuracy of security layers. Together with TEEs, smartphones think they are vulnerable to attacks. In response, the South Korean company is probably preparing to develop its first Block-based mobile phone.
Blokchain Supported Phone Idea Not New
Samsung won't be the first company to do this. In October, Taiwan's HTC introduced the Exodus 1-brand Blockchain-based smartphone. At the end of November, Sirin Labs presented the FINNEY smartphone, which can be purchased for $ 999. FINNEY has cold storage and a secure crypto wallet, while Exodus 1 contains a special wallet called Zion.
Although it is unclear whether Samsung will offer a Blockchain device, the company is interested in this technology. The Samsung SDS, the IT arm of the Samsung Group, has developed an artificial intelligence and block-chain platform called Nexfinance for use in digital finance.
