Safety and systemic riskŞubat will be the focus of the third Stanford Blockchain Conference at Stanford University from 30 January to 1 February.

With the increasing interest of the institution in block-chain technology, the three-day event will be a presentation of various technical issues and discussions.

The event, chaired by Stanford professors; Blockstream, ConsenSys and Polychain Capital will also participate in the multi-crypto-currency enterprises.

The talks will come from representatives of industrial enterprises, including Stellar-oriented enterprise, Interstellar and Chainspace platform for intelligent contracts.

This conference was held for the first time in 2017; the use of formal methods, empirical analyzes and risk modeling to better understand safety and systemic risk in blockchain protocols.

Organizers noted that multidisciplinary cooperation was the main theme for this year's event:

Eri We aim to develop multidisciplinary cooperation between practitioners and researchers on blockchain protocols, distributed systems, cryptography, computer security and risk management. “

Stanford recently aimed to offer a more direct study of the blockchain. In June of this year, a special block chain research center was opened.
