The hackers targeted the Belgian Federation of Businesses (FEB), a non-profit organization aimed at promoting the interests of their Belgian business.
After taking control of FEB's Twitter account, hackers changed the account to appear linked to Coinbase. The account description includes a link to the official Coinbase Promotional Account and profile and cover photos as well as the Coinbase brands as well as a link to the official website of Coinbase.
Hackers could not change the name of the Twitter account in VBOFEB, which is a combination of the name of the organization in Dutch and French.
