American Insurance Services Association (AAIS), the only non-profit national insurance advisory body, OpenIDL blockchain platform announces its second version with additional features, including: kernel data sets and blockchain data architecture.
It is an open block network that enables the sharing of statistical data between insurance companies and regulators in an efficient, secure and permissive way. With the latest release of OpenIDL, AAIS delivers a more user-friendly interface and improved performance to invite participation and enhance user experience.
OpenIDL has also been enriched with additional data from more than 2 million host policies. Linking the AAIS data lake with third-party services and data providers to statistical data added better data quality, impressive visualizations, creating an environment for timely information, and completely new operational features. Now, the most up-to-date information on the risk context, such as weather, municipal or satellite data, can help Member businesses understand the potential for impact, validate existing data, share historical details, and more, streamline order to better manage business policy systems and operational Connect systems and partners.
Editors can now publish bildirim draft ve data calls and receive anonymous and general feedback from their communities using openIDL. The new reporting features provide more integrity and transparency to the market while protecting the privacy of carriers that contribute to the data.
Development also includes New Data Support, which will enable peer organizations to load additional data into their openIDL peer nodes, provide data integrity and secure internal reuse without revealing external data in operational integrations.
AAIS has undertaken the development of openIDL as a natural extension of its role as a statistical agent and consulting firm that meets the needs of Member operator and insurance regulators.
